Sager 5660 - How to get to the soundjacks in the back?

Just wondering but on my Sager 5660 the jack you plug the sound into (has headphones pic above it) is sorta tilted downwards and anything I plug in there immediately falls right out. I was thinking I could simply go inside the notebook and tilt it back upwards or something...but I have no idea how to get to the audio jacks from the inside, can someone walk me through it?

Thanks!

Hmm... that's wierd. I don't know how you'd get to it on the 5660... I'd say look at PCTorque's teardown and see what you can do, but be careful not to break anything :-) I don't get what you mean by it being tilted down, though. Have you tried using a really thin rod (screwdriver for glasses or the like) to stick it in there and pull the jack back straight? I hope that makes sense, lol. Best of luck to you!

It looks like maybe I bumped it or something when I had my headphones plugged in and the hole that you plug your headphones or speaker into is angled downwards so that you CAN put something in there and push it in all the way but as soon as you let go it slides out a little bit and doesn't make a good connection.

Hope this explains it a bit more I'll try PCTORQUE's teardown and see what I can do - but I am still open to ideas! lol

Needlenose pliers/ screwdriver

If you cant get to it from the inside - try to straighten it out from the outside using needlenose pliers or a philips screwdriver. Thoroughly clean these before pushing them in and be gentle.

DONT MESS UP BY PUSHING THEM INTO THE SPD/IF LOL
