Issues with new MobileForce 91.31-v2.40a drivers

I just downloaded the new MobileForce drivers for my Go 7800. Look at this from Half Life 2: Episode One:

The little gun is what Alyx is holding... but she's not there! Anyone know what's going on? Or if there's a more stable driver out there for my computer?

Looks like artifacting, are you overclocking?

I don't have a solution for you unfortunately. However, I'm using the same drivers for my 6800 Ultra and have not noticed your symptoms in any of my games. Auto Assault and Half Life 2 Episode One runs great at native resolution. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

And as for a good driver to roll back to, I would recommend the Mobileforce 84.56. It seems to be a very solid build with good performance and good IQ.

I'm overclocking through the nVidia driver. Not tweaking the card itself. I'll stop that and try it again.

Still the same thing. I'm going to try rolling back the driver.

*sigh* rolled back to the 84.56 driver and still the same thing.

Anyone else got any ideas? No problems in any other game. Just Episode One.

Did you go back to stock clocks?

Yes. Put the card back to stock clocks, with the rolled back driver and still same results.

Kind of off subject but, what kind of temps are you getting with those drivers?? I've tried them but they seem to run way too hot on my xps-2

I had some serious issues with this new driver. I ended up having to download Dell's driver, uninstall and scrub Tony's driver and reinstall Dell's. That fixed the problem for me!!!!!

I really don't want to have to use Dells 7X.xx driver.... So far this driver works wonders on DoD Source and my other games... it's just Episode one I've found. I reinstalled the 91.31 driver and, again, everything works great except this one game. I'm starting to think it's not a driver or overclocking issue.
