FX60 Clock Speed...?

Thread Starter
When I don't have my notebook plugged in, my fx60 automatically runs at 1.2ghz. I have already made sure my power setting is set to 'Always On'. Does anyone know how I can change this so my fx60 is always running at full speed?

Probably NHC(notebook hardware control) It's what I use to control gpu clocks, cpu voltages, and a bunch of other stuff. It should work with an fx60.

rightmark cpu utility is what ive been using. i generally keep the fx60 at 1.6ghz for normal stuff and full speed for gaming. you can set the clock speed to whatever you want and save it as a preset.

Don't worry- it clocks up to 2.6Ghz automatically when there is a load so you don't really need to do anything. I have left it default and I get 85fps in Counter Strike Source at 1680 x 1050 with graphics on complete full.

You can use utilities, but you really don't have for gaming.

Correction: I now see that you are talking about when you are playing on battery. Disregard my previous comment then.

You really play games on battery anyway? Do you get like <1hr battery life?
