Problems with new Sager 5760

I posted what I put below in the review forum as first impressions, but am starting to think I should have posted it here for some troubleshooting help. This is my first my first Sager laptop. I bought the Sager 5760 fully tweaked out with the WUXGA screen, 2gb ram, 2.0ghz processor, and 100gb 7200 rpm hard drive. Problems I have been having thus far:

* Screen flickers when you have MAX brightness
* Fans are located directly where your leg would be should you decide to put it onto your lap
* Screen is beautiful. But I like my HP ZD8000 screen better. Image is much crisper on the ZD8000 than the Sager 5760.
* Network connections are dropped from time to time if you have the "allow windows to disable this device to save power" turned on

Overall I like the laptop, just disapointed in the screen flicker, image clarity, and network connections getting dropped. I was playing World of Warcraft last night, and was in the middle of Blackwing Lair when all of a sudden my network connection dropped then reconnected. Seemed to do this every 30-45min until I disabled the power save feature.

Any other pointers on tweaks on the 57xx series would be much appreciated.

For the screen flickers:

If it happens constantly on max brightness, I seriously suggest you contacting Sager (or whoever provides your warranty) and get it repaired. That is NOT normal and is a sign of a future problem: failure of the *I forgot the technical name of the part*, which gives power to the screen.

I have a 8790 that started flickering and now I can only use it on the 2nd lower brightness level.

I think I found the problem. I removed the old video drivers and downloaded the 7900 GTX drives from Alienware. Since then, not a single flicker, not a single screen scramble.
