whats an x51. The phone idea is great, too bad my cel is not blue tooth, but I will keep that in mind for my new phone. Any other ideas for what I can use it for?

I use mine for my motorola phone to move the pictures, ringtones, videos and such from the phone to the computer, I also use it for my cellphone headset so that I have a cordless headset. both work great.

An x51 is a Dell Axim x51, or you might know it as a Pocket PC. Frankly, Dell makes the best PPC's in the business in my opinion. I have an x51v. It's like the XPS of PPC's.

Wanna justify the $14 cost of your bluetooth card? Go out on eBay, and for around $100 you can pickup a bluetooth GPS receiver and software. Throw that in your car, and boom, you've got the nicest GPS unit in town.

Can anyone recommend a good BT mouse? I see that M$ stopped making their BT mouse.

I use the bluetooth for my Logitech Dinovo keyboard/mediapad/mouse - best thing ever! Will use it to sync my Windows Mobile Pocket PC phone (T-Mobile MDA Vario) once I get around to it.

The MX900 mouse that's included in the old Dinovo set is pretty sweet, give it a look ArmchairQB.

Ive got a bluetooth GPS receiver, ive not used it with my lappy yet but i guess with the right tomtom software you can use your laptop as a satnav.

I pair it to my PPC 6600 phone... I stream radio stations to it, but also use it to ActiveSync and copy whatever.... I have yet to try my Skype setup on it (i.e. using the phone as a wireless Skype headset...)

Printing too!

Both HP and Canon make portable printers that can be bluetooth equipped. I use the Canon i80...works great. I travel a lot and just got Dell's bluetooth keyboard and mouse. No verdict on these yet.

All of the recommendations you guys I already have covered! Phone (dont have bluetooth phone), just ordered a G5 gaming mouse, Printer ( i have a Canon i9900 photo printer)not blue tooth, pocket pc (dont have one or need one), and gps might be a good thing, except I have a small car and no place to put the e1705 (honda s200o). Keep the suggestions coming, there is bound to be something I can use it for!

bluetooth is limited like any technology: it's pointless unless you need it for some reason...

maybe you'll find something here:

I use mine with my printer as well as with my phone. My phone (samsung A920) allows me to setup a highspeed modem connection for wireless internet on the road.

I send photos, games, music, videos to my phone ALL the time (and vice versa). I love having bluetooth!
