This post is only directed towards those that ordered the Alienware m9700.

I was just wondering, When you go and check the status order is it still at Phase 3??

When I check mine it is still at phase 3 for the past 3 weeks. Im just curious. I know it is a pre-order system and all but could you please clear this up for me?

The m9700's are still at phase 3 as far as I know. I don't believe the components for the m9700 or the mALX have been recevied yet. The best thing to do would be to call Alienware customer support and ask, as your getting a 9700, you still have almost three hours to get a hold of someone.

I've asked others and I see that Hammerhead's 9700 is still in Phase 3.

I thought that they may have forgot about my order. Well I guess we all wait until the 26th.

They haven't forgotten you. No company worth anything would forgot they had taken two through five thousand dollars from someone and never sent anything back. They really don't want theft charges brought against them, the PR backlash would be murder.

Yeah, the waiting sucks, but this was a pre-order, and the earliest estimated ship date was June 19, so they should get started manufacturing these real soon.

Don't be too surprised if they're a little late as this is a new model and all. The ship date was just an estimate, if there are any hiccups in the system it'll delay shipping.

I'm sure things will start hopping here any day...
