Mobile Graphics Card Comparison Chart - Page 2

DianeW, it seems you are stuck with a lot of spec's but no actual laptops to choose from. I would like to recommend the Toshiba P105-S9312. It is $1999 US, top of the line, 17" widescreen (lots of workspace) The best Video Card out there and a very high end cpu. It is also the lightest 17" laptop.

You won't find a better price for a notebook like this.

PS: Would you guys stop the forum war? I mean PM each other, tell the other how you feel, hell even get each others phone numbers, but please don't spam the forum with useless arguments where people are trying to get help. My $0.02

Chakz, I agree... Sort of takes away from useful info...

This thread started out pretty clean until I (the thread starter) got "neg" repped.... Dude that did it (more than likely "lordoflands") should have PM'd first, gave me a chance to add that the 7900GS "owns" a 7800GTX... "if" overclocked.

Sorry for bringing those issues into this thread, but I'm not just going to stand by when such happens. It's very insulting to spend allot of time trying to help people, trying to get your "rep" built up so persons will take what you say seriously, then have it knocked down in such a un-called for manner.

Seems like the Dell and Alienware guys are the ones that cause the most trouble on the boards... they've gone into other sections of the boards so much that the mods have threaten to ban persons doing such actions.

I'd like to know about the 7200 also, and whether or not its 128 MB is dedicated or shared. Does anyone know?

well, how does the 7200 Go compare to the X200M offered by the L2000?

L2000 was my previous lappy, but it was a shared memory off of the ram

the 7200 Go is dedicated 128, and w/ the turbocache its 256 i guess... so how is it vs the L2000? L2000 isn't the dedicated version of the 200M

Ok... in your post you state that the Intel 950 GMA can support Aero Glass but I've seen other posts in threads were it's stated that the 950 will NOT support Aero Glass.

I'm confused.... please clarify

No, I wasn't serious! It was the 'graphics' chip in the last notebook I had, and this taught me to check out any future notebook purchase (i.e this I have now ) so's I didn't become a 'Can my graphics card play this?' kind of poster.
