IBM question

Hello everyone,

I would appreciate any thoughts about my experience with IBM laptop.

I got my T40 about 2 years ago, and since then ( 3 years warranty) they changed in my system : 3 memory modules, 3 hard drives, and 4 (four!) motherboards. Now it`s dead again, but they just changed the motherboard about 5 weeks ago. Still, I like my laptop, but for my point it`s too many cases, so my question is , in your experience , could I request a replacement and what are the chances to get it ? Thanks to all for answers.

I had similar problems with a Tecra S1, about same age. They replaced everything, but it has been a highly unreliable machine. Which is why I've been looking seriously at IMB!?!

PUSH hard for a replacement. That is unreasonable.
