anyone else get the "FIND OUT HOW MUCH YOU'VE BEEN SELECTED TO SAVE!" email from Dell

I actually got three different emails about this, (I have three email accounts registered for their mailer) This is the one where you have until June 15th to use the code they send you. You can get either 25%, 50%, or 75% off of selected systems. Now, I tried all three codes, and surprise, surprise, ALL OF THEM where only 25% off!!

Did anyone actually get one that was MORE than 25%???

You said it can be 75% off selected systems? Are you trying all the different codes on the same system? Maybe try a code on a different system to see if it is one that is qualified for 75% off.

I am in Canada, and I got this last week. 25% as well. Problem is, you have to pick the system from a special page. On that special page, the price was jacked up so much that even with the coupon, the price was higher than the same system configured on their regular website.

this is true (to a lesser extent) of all current dell "deals" and coupon specials.

Actually, for Canadians these email coupon offers aren't that bad. I got one a few months ago which came with a 50% off offer (all the others I'd ever received were always for the minimum, usually 25%). Knowing my father was looking for a new desktop I gave it to him. He ended up buying a nicely loaded 9150.

Remember, for us Canadians, we get screwed by Dell with an almost complete lack of decent coupons.
