Go to www.getfirefox.com and you'll be done in less than 5 minutes!

an alternative answer would be to go to www.opera.com/download

both will work fine

i know this has been mentioned before but ware can I get good free firewall and virus protection?

EDIT
I got McAfee it has firewall virus scaner and a bunch of stuff. I get it free with comcast so I thought I would give it a shot, better then nothing right? so far I seem to like it hopefully it does the job. It takes your fear from being infected and throws it away so it gives me relief! with this I just want to know if anyone has had or known problems with it? thanks

Technically you're right. Firefox loads up slower the first time you start it after booting. Still, it has so many other advantages that I never use anything else.

to the op ccleaner clears your cache for you when you run it.

firefox will get to the point where you need to clear the cache also, so it's not just an ie thing. ff ftw, however.

extremely slow connections can also cause images to not load. I remember last year when I was in Bosnia and had this ungodly slow connection, most of the time it would just give up trying to load images..

ff still sucks

I have a strong connection... I can be downloading numerous large files and be playing BF2 with no lag! I love it!
