I've been reading posts about video cards, and people mentioned single pipe and dual pipes. What's the deal about them? Thanks.

They are referring to the copper cooling pipes on the video card and CPU. The 7900GS only has one pipe that leads off to the fans. The 7900 GTX on the XPS m1710 has two pipes that go left and right to the two fans. Its a better cooling sytem. And when they say pipe, it isn't actually a pipe, its a decent size copper wire that runs to the heat fins at the fans.

The 7900gs in the XPS has dual pipes. Or you can buy one to put in your 1705/9400. The duals seem to have better cooling.

There are 2 versions of 7900GS. Single and Dual. E1705's seems like they ship w/ single, and M1710 seems like duals. A seller from this from sells duals.
