Yes it does. I have the motorola hs850 and it works fine. I had a ton of grief figuring out how, at first.

Initially, I tried the Toshiba drivers. You can download them from Dell. They worked great...setup with headset was dead easy. The only problem I had was that BT would throttle up my cpu to 100% and it would stay that way even after BT was shut off. A program called TosOBEX.exe was still running in the task manager. If I disabled that, my cpu throttled normally. I tried many things to solve this but nothing did.

I ended up using the Widcomm stack. If you carefully follow the stickied directions at the top of the 17" section, you shouldn't have to many problems.

I prefer the Toshiba stack for ease of use, but Widcomm doesn't give me grief.

......and to reiterate, yes, the bt phone headset works on either stack, (skype, yahoo, etc),as does my phone.

Also do you know the range of the wireless signal? how far away can I be Thanks SWEET!! Thanks for the advice I will surely try that when I recieve my laptop. But just to confirm the MIC on the cellphone/headset works as well?

Yes, both will work provided that you use either the Toshiba or the Widcomm stacks. If you use the default stack that comes with Windows XP SP2, it will not work because that stack does not support the headset profile.

I am using a Motorola HS850 with the Toshiba stack on my 9300. The secret I found to stop it from throttling the CPU up is that after I connect the headset I disable it as a speaker so I am only using it as a microphone for Vent or Teamspeak. If I don't do that Guildwars becomes a slideshow.

tHe HS850 has a solid 30ft range. Personally it's one of the best headsets imho, though the volume could be a little louder :/

I have not used my headset on the PC, but I do use my A920 bluetooth link for highspeed internet when I am on the road.

-BTW, just hooked my H850 to my laptop, it recognized it & installed the drivers...
Com3-MotorolaH850 "Serial command"
Com4-MotorolaH850

...No idea how to really use it yet, but heh I'm working on it

I found that when I tried to use the earpiece as the default "Sound playback device" Guildwars would turn into a slideshow so I have to use my 9300's speakers and only use the headset as a mic. This is with the Dell (Toshiba) bluetooth stack.
