so anyways i've been doing nothing abnormal with my z70v, then yesterday when i turned it on and went into a game it prompted me saying "my hardware has changed do you want to change default settings" i didnt notice this and promptly went into the game
later i noticed NHC said my computer was running at 1.30 ghz, and it was set on max performance! it should have been at 1.73ghz. I restarted and checked hte bios- recognized it at 1.73. If i right click on my computer > Properties it views the CPU as 1.3 ghz. I restarted a few times and nothing changed
As i've been writing this message, i realized that although i havent installed new software recently, windows did a few autoupdates yesterday. Could one of these have screwed it up? If so, how can i fix it.. should i just try to uninstall the things that were installed? Unfortunately I dont know which ones they were
Anyways, if thats the problem someone else must be having the same issues. Anyone? I keep my comptuer really up to date, so I should have the newest drivers etc.
