it seems like something that they wouldn't leave out, but i cant see them puffing it up either? does the 1210 have a bluetooth option?

Yes the M1210 does have bluetooth as an option.

My first day and I love it!
Oddly enough, my favorite part about the laptop is the mouse keys. There is no loud "click" noise associated with it. I like the feel when I press down on it. No keyboard flex on mine.
Perfect for use in the library!

The camera is rather crappy. Just a normal webcam, can't expect much.

But yeah I also have the "put screen down and lift it up quickly and the screen won't light back up" issue. But it's really not a problem for me. I don't usually put down the screen and have the need to put it right back up within a second.

Question about the m1210 hard drive

What's its cache (2MB, 8MB, etc.) for a 100-120GB 5400 rpm and/or a 60-80GB 7200 rpm drive?

Hmm, I dunno if one of these are in my future...

I believe all the hard drive options are 8 MB cache now.

On a different note, when the heck are Dell going to release new video card drivers! I'm tired of having to resize my opened windows every time the screen turns off and on when I close it! Grrr!

New drivers! You hear me, Dell? NEW DRIVERS!

haha ya i noticed the problem when i went to the dell kiosk today.... they had just gotten the m1210 in yesterday and kept getting really flustered when people would close it to look at the profile and then open it again and no one could figure out how to fix it for like 10 minutes... felt bad for them

Have any of you guys with the video problem tried different drivers? You'll need to uninstall the existing drivers before trying something else. Here are a couple to try.

i tried omega, didn't see any difference.

in fact i got worse FPS in games with omega than with the dell one.

how about you guys?

I was curious whether the different drivers fixed the window resizing issue.
