Clicking noise on casing of screen on E1705

On my E1705, I hear a clicking noise when I press on the outer edge of the screen on the right side. Right under the rubber piece in the middle of the right outer casing and going down, when I lightly press on the casing in that area, I can hear a click. It only happens on the right side. I know its not a big deal, because the screen is perfect, but stuff like this bothers me after spending over $2000 on this computer. Does this happen on all E1705's or is it just mine? I don't know if this is a big enough problem to send it in. It only makes the noise when I light press on it. Please help.

Doesn't happen on mine but I had my LCD cover replaced after the last tech scratched it and broke some of the plastic tabs. Ask for a parts only service replacement so you can do it yourself - techs always screw something up.

I have same thing on my left side of screen, doesn't bother me at all. It's not like I constantly open and close it, and has nothing to do w/ performance. Then again, that's just me. I think it doesn't bother me since I got long warranty btw.

Do you think if I called Dell about this, they would send somebody to my house to fix this? I have the at home support or whatever its called.

They probably will, but I think it's somewhat overreacting if you actually call the guy. I mean, to me, there's no visual probem w/ the hardware, it's just little clicking noise when you open and close it. I would'nt pay much attention to it. I think if you actually want a "perfect one", you will waste more time to find it rather than enjoying it. Just make sure you have enough warranty so you can replace it in long run when you have a real problem.
