How many of you have pre-ordered sli (either m9700's or the mALX's) before 6.19.2006???

For the fun of it, post your order date and "supposed" delivery date.

Does 6/20/2006 count? Paid in full in 1 easy payment. Now just waiting for the parts to come so it can be assembled....

Obsidian, your laptop is not going to come in probably until middle of July. We all pre-ordered our systems back in May and the beginning of June.

I talked to CS today and they said that mine is in assembly (phase 5). I ordered mine on May 31st.

Yeah that sounds about right with what day they are talking about shipping it out. My ESD is July 10, so yeah about July 13-15 it should arrive. I'm patient. I can wait... Uhhh.... Hmmmm.... Is it here yet?

Well, I only ordered one other AW before, the Aurora m7700 and I had a similar experience that we all seem to be having with the m9700.

According to the web site you are in Phase 3 right? When you call they say you are actually in another phase, like 4 or 5.

I went down that path until CS told me I was in Phase 5 (assembly). The web site still said Phase 3, I was confused. About a week later my machine actually entered phase 4 on the web site. And phase 4 says

Phase4: (Pre-Production)
The inventory that will be used to custom build the PC is being pulled and inspected. In the rare occurrence that a PC component is not readily available, you will be notified via email.

Well guess what, I received an email shortly later that they were out of screens and my order was delayed.

So, in my past experiences what the phase CS tells you may be incorrect and the web site is actually accurate.

Maybe some of these guys with multiple AW orders can answer better.

I will say one thing, it was worth the wait

That's the only thing that keeps us waiting! The fact that we are getting top line product!!!

Well, that and the fact (for me anyways) that they already have my money...

But mostly what holysoldier said

im beggining to think nothing can be worth this wait, but i may change my mind once i start up my new rig for the first time

Took me 2 1/2 months to get my Aurora m7700 in, and it was not a new system to AW. It was worth it, but i have a killer desktop to keep me satisfied during the wait

PS: if you order a m9700 today, there is a 21 day waiting list on the 17" UXGA screen

just click the "may delay your order" java link
