thinkpad 770 Problem Plz help

hi i have a thinkpad 770, i know its old but hey its still worth fixin, well ne ways when i boot i get a screen that has thinkpad all over for a wallpaper then a small box that says " OFF > ON " Plz help thx.. here is a pic

That symbol just means to turn the machine off and then on again. Try turning it off, then right back on.

Have you had an errors asking you for the time and date, or anything else?

yea i had the date and time errors well i put a new cmos bat in and set the times and everything and it still has this screen comin up and i have shutdown and turned on multiple times..
