well, recently when the computer is baasically idleing with 1 IE open and aim runnning..... my CPU temp quickly seems to rise to 60degrees C with no CPU fan on, ambiant temp in the room is about 70degrees F. That seems a little high dont you think... get back to me plz

The fan should always be running, if it stops there is either something wrong with the fan or the bios.

well, around 60 it will come on, and i usually thru i9kfangui tell it to be on slow all the time, but it auto turns off after a while. And btw my 9300 is still pretty new, so i dont think dust is the problem

Let the fans manage itself, dont have fangui force anything. I think thats the problem. See if that does anything

i8kfangui has a nice little keep force fans on high button that I have noticed i9kfangui does not have.

I let the system manage the fans usually, but when i game, use i8kfangui to force them on high.

Oh and my CPU temp never goes above 60, even under full load. Check your fans for dust. Could be clogged up.

Definitely try i8kfangui, It has worked great for me. I keep the fans on manual...CPU - Low, GPU - High, and it stays MUCH cooler than with the bios controlling the fans. I haven't seen my CPU go above 40c, it usually idles around 32-33c.

ya check for dust. or it could be driver issues. im having the same problem. thinking of opening it up and cleaning thoroughly. idles at 62 now. up 10 degrees. i dont game much but i recently fired up HL2: ep 1. whithin minutes the temp. shot up to 80. so either driver issue or major cloggage.
