Hello,

I would like to replace my toshiba by a new core-duo laptop with good gaming capabilities, so I think that the asus a6j is a good choice
I read some reviews on the net and I would like to clarify some points before ordering

- is the sound good for listening to music ? loud and clear ?
- is the screen good under normal lightning conditions ? what about
- brightness
- resolution
- response time
- reflections
- what is the noise level produced by the fan - is it annoying ? continuously running ? I have seen that a bios upgrade can reduce the time where the fan is on - is it true ?
- what is the heat production level, specially under the laptop ?
- what is best to support present and futur games : x1600 or geforce 7600 ?
- is it possible to disable the scrolling part of the touchpad ?

last but not least : do you recommend this laptop (as desktop replacement) and asus in general ?
