I didn't want to start up a new thread, but how is the head now on the Macbooks? Have the firmwares done anything?

![]() FWIW Dept: Except for the heat/mooing issue, which Apple seems to have addressed with the last update, nothing about which I'm aware will dissappoint you with the current machines. It is a PITA, though, to buy something which becomes outdated only a few weeks down the road, and Merom will probably cause that to happen to current notebooks. |

You know, compared with the Acer I use at work, it really isn't too much different. The Acer gets warm enough that using it as a LAPtop would be a bit on the uncomfortable side. Placed the MBP into a more mainstream light, when I did this (mind you purely subjective) comparison.
