I have a 8890 with the 2x DVD-R/RW burner on it. I have a problem with it that i have encountered only with burned disks. I have had a few kinds of blank dvd-r/rw adn cr-r/rw disks that after being burned and put in my drive, the drive sees it as blank and still being in the "raw" format. The disks do haev data because they work in other drives. Also, this happens intermittently. I have windows XP and use windows itself and nero to burn these disks. Happens with both data, movie, and audio disks.
