Well I just got a bran new hard drive and swap out my 60GB to my new Toshiba MK1032GSX 100GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA it was super simple to install. Know all I need is to get 1GB of memory for my Apple MacBook and I am all good to go. I will post the picture so you guys can see how I instelled it I will post later today.

Take the batteries off and you will see this

Take a small Screwdriver to take out the small screw there is three of them.
When finish there you will be able to upgrade your hard drive and memory.

Make sure that the lable is facing down when you put back the hard drive.

Do at your own risk!

7200 rpm on a macbook?

Can you upgrade the hardrive of the macbooks for a faster SATA 7200 rpm spinning hard drive? Also is the MACBOOK PRO HD upgradeable?

if it's the same interface as in the macbook then yes. i don't think the HDs are as user accessible in the MBPs as they r in the MBs. i.e.-u'll likely void your warranty on the MBPs, but yes it can be done.
