case for the e1505

now i have a nice spanking new e1505 that ill be taking to college with me. now my question is...how to protect the ****ing thing. at first i was thinking a sleeve, then like i can carry it or put it in a backpack. then my dad was like you should get a separate thing for it and not in your backpack, cuz it takes away all the protection....then i was thinking laptop backpack, saw those that like "suspend" it to give more protection.

i figured there were enough people who've had their laptops at college or are going currently. any advice would be awesome

I just bought a Targus case on Ebay for $33 with shipping which was well worth it, check it out......

well a E1505 is really freakin heavy I think. A backpack would be nice on the campus plus a sleeve to protect it. I currently have a Targus carryin bag and it puts alot of pressure on my shoulders. I suggest get a backpack.

Are you a 90 pound female?

Seriously, it isn't that heavy.

backpack, so if you have to lug several textbooks too, it won't kill your back

well the one thing is, will the books compromise the security the backpack is supposed to give?

I bought the Swiss back pack for my e1505 and so far it is great. Extremely rugged so it wont fall apart (It is made by Swiss, same people that make camping equip so what do you expect). Has thousands of pockets and looks/feels very nice on your back.

i might get 1 too

i was @ bestbuy, and they have the swiss backpacks. only thing i don't like is the layer of mesh over the padded areas on the back of the thing. when i wear anything with cotton in it, the mesh causes the cotton to fuzz up and make little ball things. my old backpack destroyed a lot of clothes this way

Never thought about that...

They are on sale at Best BUy right now, or at least they were on Thursday for like 48 dollars.

If you are looking for a back pack style case than that is the best buy for the money IMO. Tons of pockets, padding everywhere, fits the E1505 snugly so it is not going to flop around in side.

In my bag I carry a 100 disk CD case that is full, extra battery, small mouse, power cord and brick, a few Suede lint free rags to clean the screen while I am out, jump drive, DC power inverter, and I have used maybe 3 pockets and still have about 8 that are untouched haha.

This is the bag I bought. When I bought it on thursday it was on sale. Just looked at my receipt and after tax my total was just under 53 dollars.

Looks like the price is up because the original price on the bag was only 64.99...
