SATA Drive not seen in Windows XP Setup

Ok I just got my hands on my first SATA Drive and I am having issues getting XP to install on it. I boot up install and use the F6 command to install my SATA drivers but when it goes to the dick manager part the drive still is not seen. Any ideas?

hmmmm, well you have to go into your bios setting and turn on whatever your Sata Drive is plugged into. I have 4 and two PATA drives which are cd rom drives.

Depending on the SATA controller, you have to go into the SATA BIOS and configure the drive as JBOD.
