45-50 during combat. 60+ with nothing happening. AA and AF are both on (2x and 6x respectivly). I fail to see how 60 frames a second at 1920x1200 for a modern game are pitiful... And like I stated before, max settings arent noticible in game over medium.

There is no 6x AF and I doubt your claims of getting 45-50 fps during combat at 1920x1200 with 2xAA/6x(8x?)AF since even my E1705 with a 7900 GS@600/1150 can't pull that off.

I read articles all the time.

I love having the ability to have 2 full windows side by side. at over 900 pixels wide.

I also use it when reviewing PDF as i can have 2 full pages visible at a time as well.

My boss has an i6000 with 15" screen at 1920x1600 and he loves his too.
Thats really really tiny font, but on the plus side you dont have to move your eyes very far to read and thus can read really fast.

Screenshots don't provide much in the way of evidence since they can be captured at any point during gameplay to show peak fps. FRAPs benchmarks would although you doing it would be a waste of time since I already know your XPS 2 with a 7800 GTX isn't capable of pulling it off.

They are fraps shots during combat with fraps showing fps in corner

Right like I told you, screenshots can be captured showing peak fps. The proper way to do a benchmark is to go into a heavy combat area (e.g. lots of tanks, helicopters, troops running around and blowing things up) while having FRAPs benchmark feature turned on. This has to be repeatable so you need a pre-recorded BF2 demo to pull it off. Here's an example of what I'm talking about, I did this "article" awhile back: http://clan786.com/modules.php?name=...e&pid=1&page=1

Pics arent uploading for some reason, I think they are too big. How do I benchmark with fraps? I know its set to benchmark with the f11 key, do I press f11 to start and f11 to finish?

Just out of curiosity, do you even need AF and AA at that high of a resolution? Seems like the picture would already be super sharp.

Even if these dont help I spent too much time to have them go to waste! I think they were resized when they were hosted so it made them fuzzy. Gonna work on a benchmark, if I can figure it out.

I really like FEAR's ingame benchmarking, its short sweet and practical. I would have downloaded FEAR for that alone.... and pretty much did.

I read articles a ton.

It's not a problem/bother at all. You can either crank up the font size, or scale up the browser display (easier done in IE7 than others, but still very simple to do).

My final solution: I went back to firefox. Problem solved.

Do you guys play bf2 with 1920?
Does it handicap you in the critical moment when you are doing matrix style dodging bullets?
