HellStrider189 strikes back and is ready for another paintjob. I need your input to determine choice of color. You've maybe seen my previous paintjobs on this forum (Candy apple red Emachine M6810, Copper Perl 9200/9300, and custom LCD back pannel for 9300, also copper perl).

Here is the idea. I bought carbonfiber quicksnap for 9300 and I'm going to paint it. Also, I'm modding my 9300 into XPS gen2 with 2.26Ghz Pentium M pin mod and 6800 Ultra.

mods to the cover: fill the dell logo with bondo, make it flat. I'll have 2 inch tall letters XPS right in the center where dell circle logo used to be, of course clear coat over everything.

As for choice of color I need your input.

Quicksnap color choices:
- Candy Apple Red Mettalic
- Black Pearl
- Cobalt Perl
- Jet Black

As for the XPS letters they can either be WHITE or SILTER METTALIC (like the rest of the laptop)

I appreciate it guys!!! I'll have the pics in the forum as soon as I'm done!

i say black pearl with white XPS...those are good off setting colors. close second was the black pearl with the silver, also very nice, but looks too much like the originial

id say black pearl, and red...but im just throwing that out there

it didnt really matter if I bough blue one or carbon fiber one, as long as there is plastic to scratch and paint over!

the carbon fiber one (plastic) cost me only $30 shipped, so I'm going to mess with it, paint supplies will cost only abou $15.
