How much DV8000T weighs??

I ordered my DV8000T from HP on the 15th ( I think) and it would be coming in tomorrow via FedEX. I know that HP says it is 8.1lbs and the fedex shipping service says the package is 6.2Kg (6.2 x 2.2 = 13.64) so does it mean the package weighs (13.64-8.1) 5.54 lbs.
Just a question for the people who have bought this notebook, what is its weight and does the configeration make a noticable difference.

Thank and please do post your notebooks respective weights,..

Yes.. the box is about five pounds. 8.1 sounds about right for the unit itself.

The other 5.5lb is things like the AC adapter, box, CD's, etc... also may include the battery...

I think the unit is 8.1 lbs with the battery, battery being around 1.3?, A/C adapter /brick around a pound. A/C brick is pretty small.
