I just returned an e1705 for a defective screen and doing a new build-up and was wondering if dell on call was worth the extra $120,for that price I could get a new printer!.What ever feedback you provide I'll appreciate it.

Dell On Call is software support. The tech support that comes with your system covers only the hardware. Tech support won't answer questions regarding software issues, at least this is what they say.
My advice is to save the 120$ and look around the forums for software answers. I guess it depends on how software literate you are.

My money wouldn't ever go to Dell's software service until I talked to someone who had experience with them. We've already got mountains of evidence that their hardware support team is doing well to determine where the power switch is on your laptop, would you want to pay extra for that same level of support on your software?
Without even calling them once, I'd bet good money that virtually every software call they handle goes like this: "uninstall the program, then reinstall the program." Advanced calls probably go like this: "uninstall the program, delete the directories it was in, then reinstall the program".
I'd get a printer.

Dell on Call is only for Software Support. the Tech support that you is only for the hardware that you have purchased. Dell, and most computer manufacturers are bound to provide basic Operating system support even though it is developed my Microsoft because of the SLA that they have with Microsoft. Sound too stupid for me though! How on earth does Microsoft expect others to give support for its own products? Try calling M$ for some help with ur OEM windows and you will know what I am talking about!
