TM 8104 firewire chipset?

Hey guys

does anyone know what chipset the TM 8104 firewire uses? Is it a TI (Texas Instruments chipset)?

Where did you find that - was browsin little bit here and there for that information. Hmmm to think of it - maybe I could have looked at the TM8104 itself, right??? ... but am on a desktop now elsewhere so couldn't check this for few days.

Anyways thank you again - this was VERY helpfull.

Good to know before connecting with something that some say might blow up if the 8104 didn't have the TI chip on firewire
