Recording from TV ?

Hi,

so I have my 9400 with MCE all set up and can watch videos from Media Center on my TV through my S-Video to SCART cable.

But what if I want to record from TV on my hard drive?

Do I need to use a SCART-to S-Video IN cable, and is there a port on my laptop for that?

If that works, how do I get it to record a certain channel?

You need a seperate Video Capture/TV Tuner device. For a laptop people usually go with USB. Not even sure there is an Expresscard one out.
