DHL Is worthless! - Page 2

Yah, UPS 3 day service always gets to me fast from Newegg. It does help that Newegg has a warehouse in LA and I'm in Phoenix though.

Never had problem with UPS and FexEx due to reg Divers I Known them they always make sure I or my wife was home to sign it, If not then they will try again until they put it in holding for me to pick it up. Now its Driver to be blame on than carrier that does the works. Also its who push and pull the package from point A to point B you would'nt blelive how many ppl will touch your box thru this mess.

I like DHL...in Canada, UPS is universally hated (do a search on google with Canada and UPS)....we have Purolator here and this is what Dell uses and I have had nothing but good success with them...
Whenever they ship something to me and I am not home, they call my phone and leave a nice message stating they tried to deliver something but I was not home and it will be available at such and such depot and to call them if I want them to do something different...can't beat them!

I also like Fedex but they are pricey...

I can't even begin to tell you guys how much I hate DHL. Yeah I know no one is perfect, but I've had so many problems with them over the last few years. I ordered a 20" Dell widescreen monitor and some Logitech speakers from Dell. Dell shipped my screen via UPS. It got here safe and sound. We know our UPS guy, have known him for years cause of my dad's business. He always brings our stuff on time and un-damaged. Fed-Ex is also usually pretty good here too.

But DHL is the worst company ever. IMO I also always get all my stuff delivered to my office. DHL has brought stuff to my office tons of times. But DHL could not find my office when they tried to deliver my speakers I ordered through Dell. They tried 5 times. I finally called them and told them that DHL has delivered to my office in the past. They tried again and still could not find the place. I had to go by the DHL office to pick up my speakers. And let me tell you, that DHL office was a rat hole! I was afraid to go in the place. And they still had trouble finding my package at their office!

I have had nothing but great service from DHL, always fast and all my packages have arrived perfectly intact...I have all my Dell packages delivered to my work place so I can sign for each and every one...They are also there quickly when I have to return a Item back to Dell, usually within 2 hours or sooner after I call...I must be one of the fortunate few, but I have to give them a thumbs up for service in my area....

Service Wise: UPS = FedEx = DHL
Reason: It all depends on the delivery boy.

FedEx is sometimes faster, but rarely. They are also cheaper.

If it were raining, UPS usually puts it in a plastic bag.

DELL here in Canada uses Purolator.

I've never really had a problem with them. If you're not home, they leave a slip on your door telling you where you can pick up your package. My 2 centres are either right near my house, or down the street from school, so either way I'm not going out of the way to get it.

I'm sorry to hear about the water damage. I'm sure if you speak to a higher up a DHL they will make good, especially if you explain to him how it was raining when the package came.
