According to Alienware, the production of the 9700's started yesturday, 06/19/06. Who will be the first person to hit phase 10 on the forums? Keep your post updated!

There have been someone people who have had movement. Is there anyone in Phase 4 or higher? I was told by a Critical Team Issues member that they hope to start by this Wed at the latest as they are waiting on the LCD screens and the wireless mini PCI cards to come in.

I think just about everyone is in phase 4. I haven't heard of anybody being told they are in any phases above that... yet

Noooo!

just got off the phone with alienware and while i was informed i had been moved to phase 4 which i figured i was already in, they informed me that they are waiting on the software for media center windows and that they currently have no estimated time she said best bet was to call back on tuesday and they could have the software or a date to have it atleast

Phase 5 today 6-30 =) ordered XP pro cause, well, IM A PRO! lol j/k im an IT guy and this system will have some business functionality but mostly for games.

Phase 3 here. I am only a few days shy of the 1 month mark. I ordered it on June 8 and was in phase 3 two days later. As of July 4th still in phase 3. I was assured there were no problems and the ship date of June 27th was valid, but when I asked again on the 23rd they informed me of the 2 week delay. Since this laptop is replacing my fried Gateway I am computerless. Fortunatly the GF is bring cool about me taking hers over.

The good news is that they took my money last week so I might be closer.
