What are the "tweaks" in the XG drivers besides the coolbits page? Are there actual subtle optimizations in the driver?

XG tweaks are the same with each driver set. Only difference is the drivers. I would imagine it is a problem the game has with the drivers.

The 9x.xx series aren't speed demons because they sacrifice a smidgen of performance for enhanced IQ.

Enhanced iq? please elaborate.

Can anyone fill me in on what kind of "tweaks" the XG driver has besides coolbits?

Also, how much affect does that setting on the newer drivers have? I think its "thread optimization"-auto/on/off.... Man Ive been using thoes drivers for a month up till last night and I cant even remember... damn weed.

Tony mods the drivers to deliver slightly better IQ (image quality) on TOP of whatever the drivers themselves bring to the table. The XGs are *supposed* to balance performance with high quality settings.

You can make these mods with the stock drivers, it just takes some doing. Tony does it for you.

9xxx r still beta from nvidia. so i would think the final whql release will be much improved. im still at 82xx. wating for the 9xxx's. installing drivers has always been messy for me.
