Testing / Stress testing new SD / Mini SD memory

Thread Starter
I am sure a bunch of us buy SD memory and some have Mini SD (my pocket pc phone does) cards.

If I have only a 30 day return warranty whats the best way to test them so that I have a reliable product.

Open to all ideas.

Never thought about that. But I'm sure sisoft sandra's benchmarking package (free) would do alright.

I'd simply copy some large files back and forth - it should be quickly obvious if the card is faulty.

In most cases those adapters that come with the MiniSD or MicroSD ones tend to be flakey so ensure you properly insert the cards into the adapters before testing them.
