Dell quicksnap cover for e1705

I was wondering if anybody has pics of dell's quicksnap cover on there laptop.I seen them on dell's site ,but the pic is to small to to tell the true color and how it looks with the white edge.All pic's would be really appreciated.Thanks

I don't have a picture, but my friend has the carbon fiber for the E1505, The white trim still shows and it just snaps on if you look on the top of the LCD you'll see two long slits, this is where it snaps in. It also makes the top about another 1/8" thick, I thought they looked cool but after seeing it in person, i'll pass.

Those with an E1705 / 9400 have to purchase a 9200 Quicksnap
Those with an E1505 / 6400 have to purchase a 6000 quicksnap

Dell is always behind on the times.

anyone ever disassemble there notebook and painted the original plastic?? i looked under the little rubber things on the screen and theres screws, thought maybe you could take em out and paint the plastic.

Yes, the 9300 QuickSnap will fit the E1705. I'm looking for a blue one for my E1705. If anyone knows where I could get one cheaper than Dell's website, please PM me.

I did that on my old 6400. I'll post pics tonight if anyone wants to see the lid.

They have some cool Texas/Michigan/Florida decals for laptops at that link...too bad no U of I or Nebraska.

I got the Carbon Fiber quicksnap on my E1705. I must say it really adds something to the laptop over the normal silver. I'll upload some pictures when I get home from work.

I know its not pictures, but at the 5 minute mark in this video, he finally takes the packaging off the computer...he's got the carbon fiber cover i believe...just something for a general idea how it looks.
