they are still making 7800gos, i just got one as a replacement for my artifacting card (the temps were great since febuary, never over 74c while gaming with fans on high)
then the replacement i got which was a 7800go rev2 that was supposed to be cooler running was running up to 93c and throttling, i called back and a 7900gs is set to be to me on monday, i love dell !
