u know i saw part of program that investigated whether these schemes work. well the conclusion was that some work but one has to go through a biiiig hassle to get'em free. it involves signing up for dozens of magazine subscriptions or something and then going through the hassle of canceling the orders. dont know the exact details but im sure as hell not going to even try and find out.
