resolution

Hey
I just got a new dell inspiron 8600 with a WSXGA+ screen and I set the DPI to 96 because images on internet explorer were really fuzzy and so were some on the desktop. But now the text and fonts are really small. I was wondering if theres a fix for this and if I would have had the same problem if i had got the WUXGA screen or not. Also do other laptops like hp pavilions with the same resolution have the same problem.

The UXGA would have the same prob only worse. I have the UXGA and did not have any prob with the small fonts, my wife changes it to 140% I think??? No fix that I know of that does not affect the screen. It does grow on you, try it for a wile.

If you can't stand it you could get the xga.

what no single thread mentions is the fact that you have to change your dpi to 120 AND AND AND change the reg key value to ....then you can have your cake (larger fonts) and eat it too (non-fuzzy images) only took me a week and a half to figure that out!
