Media Hotkeys: W3J

I just got my W3J , but now I want to change the media hotkeys.

Currently, the "CD" button opens WMP and none of the buttons control Winamp, even with Global Hotkeys Enabled. Also, pressing play/pause opens up the Asus DVD player.

I would like to change the hotkeys around so that they work with Winamp and don't open the DVD player. Anyone have any knowledge as to how I can go about and do this?

It would be nice to change them, but I stopped caring. I ended up switching to WMP and installed 11 Beta which has been working nicely.

Did you find an answer to the hotkeys yet? I found these on another forum some time ago, when I was looking to purchase a W3J myself. (Now i think Ill wait until they throw some extra USB ports into it.)

Go to Edit>Multi Plugin>Compatibility>check Make Programs Recognize iTunes as Winamp>check Fix Media Keys Functionality>Mode 2

Hotkeys are all controlled by HControl, and can't be reassigned easily. Somebody came up with a hack and posted the link around here, but it hasn't been updated in a while.

I've heard of HControl, I was just wondering if there was another way since some users said that some hotkeys stopped working if they used the mondified HControl. At this point, I don't even care. I've stopped using WinAmp and have completely switched over to WMP 11Beta.
