This a quote from someone on a differente forum.. hope this helps!!
"It's generally all about resolutions. The 'W' in the name indicates "wide" res.
WXGA: max res of 1366 x 768
WSXGA+: max of 1680 x 1050
WUXGA: max of 1920 x 1200
Is it worth it? Well, depends on what you plan on doing with your screen realestate. In other words, are you going to be working on large graphics or huge spreadsheets that need the extra screen space for efficient manipulation? If not, it might not be that big of a deal. However, those things aren't generally upgradeable if you figure out you really do need the bigger screen...so choose wisely.
Something else to consider is that the physical dimensions of the screen usually don't change. So where the WXGA res might be a comfortable fit for the screen size, buying the upgrade to WUXGA may make everything way too small and hard to work in. Not that you have to run it at that high res, but why then did you pay for that capability in the first place."
