w3j running processes

Thread Starter
Hey, I just got the new w3j computer and it is running great. Without installing much of anything, just new updates and drivers it boots up with ~53 total running processes. That seems a bit excessive and probably could be toned down a bit. I need your help in identifying which ones can be safely disabled, and a means to do them =] Thanks in advance

If you look in Task Manager and sort it by usernamethe google all the processes that are running by username and just remove what you don't want running. Leave the System/local service/ network services alone.

I don't think that's overly excessive. My Z71v is running 50 processes at the moment.

Pfft, my desktop never runs more than 35, thats alot, I definetly wont allow my new laptop soon to have over 40 running. It better not eat over 512mb idle.
