ok, i set it to ATA mode. From this website, which drivers should i try and use?

I tried the first one under "FASTRACK & SATA 276/376/378 serie" called

"FastTrak 376/378 drivers version 1.00.1.39 & 1.00.1.41 pour Windows 98/Me/2000/Xp 32/64bits new" and that one didnt work either.

From that site I would try these: SATA 378 (tm) IDE Controller ver: 1.00.0.29 pour windows 2000/Xp

However, it would probably be better just to use the 9860 drivers from Sager.
