why only solo for D420?

anyone has the reason?

I though Duo and solo consume same power?

Not for the Ultra Low Voltage CPU's. Check out Intel's Processor Chart.

The ULV Core Solo U1400 and U1300 are only 5.5W. The lowest Core Duo's are the L2300 and L2400 that are 15W.

I think core duo is coming later this year. Its prob better to wait, esp if you to run Vista on it.

Dell really missed the boat with this one.
They should just have made a Latitude X2 and based it on the Samsung Q35 because clearly the age of X1's are over.
