Since the M170 has these flashy lights looks looks like a "gaming" type of machine, my boss as well as others in the office thinks I am playing video games, etc. hence, not working on company time like I am doing now... posting on notebookforums.com.

ALOT of people think I am crazy to want to trade.

Hope I answered your question.

lolol flashy lights on the xps makes boss go angry lol. its like that macdonalds commercial where this dude goes to work early to play games

True BUT if you look at the back of the lid of the LCD, it has the XPS initals, the design, etc. It still looks flashy, even w/o the lights and it stands out in the office I am at. Although I get ALOT of comments as to how nice and good it looks, the important comment is the one that comes from the Boss himself which was not very favorable.

Man, I just hate to sell it!!!!

Thanks for the bump!

You sure that it will?

Comparison of a Centrino vs a duo core:

The new 7900GS (optional card in the e1705) is about the same performance of your 7800GTX:

That is what people have told me. They told me that dual core is about 25% faster than Dothan ONLY if the software was multi-theaded. If the software was not multi threaded, there is no use for dual core and basically useless. Also, it was good in encoding...

As for the 7800GTX, it out performs the 7900 stock, but overclocked was a different story.

Again, that is what I was told and I am no expert. I am not trying to get in to any battle.

There's always my setup..... But I have a 4 year Complete Care and Accidental Damage which cost $400. I might be willing to trade though. PM me if interested. Your computer does have the 17" screen at 1920x1200, correct?
