X1400 3DMark03 scores

T2400 with 1 gig ram, WSXGA+, all the original Dell drivers & software running.

A bit disappointing really, almost identical to score from my old Clevo D870P with a Mobility Radeon 9700...

Got it up to 4297 by installing dhzero drivers and overclocking in Powerstrip

after realising there's a benchmarking forum here which told me what programs to use...

is it safe to oc? what are your temps?

There's one guy who seems to know what he's talking about who swears you can leave it overclocked the whole time.

I was playing Civ 4 and the CPU peaked at 71 degrees, but I don't think there's a separate sensor for the GPU, so not sure this is significant. When idle it doesn't seem any hotter than normal.

I clocked the GPU at 540 and memory at 450 which worked no problem at all. I haven't tried pushing it too far. The computer locked up completely when I tried jacking the memory speed right up, but that was just once and I haven't tested what the limits are.

there is a separate temp sensor for gpu, ram, hdd, and cpu
