How to upgrade hard disk on Fujitsu N5010?

Thread Starter
Hopefully getting a new 7200 RPM 60GB Hitachi to replace the existing 60GB one. Anybody know how to replace it? Am I gonna have to obtain anything to be able to fit the new HDD?

And I understand it voids the warranty? And if this is so, is there anything stopping me from putting back the original HDD if something goes wrong with the notebook, before sending it back to Fujitsu for fixing?

Thanks.

Upgrading the notebook is a trivial task. The notebook is contained in a slot in the back or on the side. Removing a few screws and the hd will easily slide out. Notebook HDs are universal. Unless Fujitsu puts some kind of sticker on their HD or uses fingerprint detection upon receiving a return, they will not find out that their hd had been swapped and then swapped back.
