Guess what since i've installed the latest driver my fan is running slow at past peace and quiet.

All that time it was a driver issue for me,

Doesn't that mean that it'll get too hot, though? With the old driver, my GPU fan only comes on when the temperature is rising and goes back off pretty soon. On and off, on and off...I like it fine this way.

Thats exactly what mine does now since driver update, before it was always on...

I think the modded INF did switch the Nvidia Display Driver Service off for 8.x drivers, as it may give an error at shutdown for some systems. Now by default the service is on.

Sorry I didn't know your problem with the fan beeing always on. I had it too, and it was related to a driver (most likely the same you had before). I now have the 91.31 too and it's just fine!
Had an hell of a time trying to find the right driver... some didn't save overclocking settings, others made the fan running all the time...
At this point, the 91.31 is the driver to go.

Bad news!!!

Been getting Blue Screen Of Death regarding the NV4_mini.sys. some error codes.

I've had to revert back to fujitsu drivers. Thats the only way i dont get the mim.sys error.
Tried all the latest drivers to no avail.
Why all of a sudden .

Not like the 79.xx version not many features.

Weird. I got those twice with this driver, but apart from that, never had problems. What is your laptop? Try the modified drivers from tweaksrus, they improve performance a bit.
Keep as updated.

Lost Heaven,

Yep the XTreme-G MobileForce 91.37-v2.50e driver from the site works perfectly.

No more Blue Screen, this driver has the mod inf plus blue screen fix.
So far so good.

Nice, hope it stays that way
