thats the thing. I DONT want that machine back, but untill alienware gets it, I dont get my new one! Now I have to wait for the long process of AW setteling an agreement to get the money back from the lost shipment, which could delay my new lappy up to a month!!!
Honestly, do you have a special case. If AW told you it can take a month to get your new system ready now, I would try to contact their customer relations. AW will want to keep you happy, and while it’s not their fault FED-EX lost your laptop, it is their fault they chose to use FED-EX who, in your case, cannot make a simple delivery.
In order for AW to get FedEx to pay for a new laptop, they have to give FedEx a chance to find the wayward machine. It's unfortunate, but despite the delay, if they can't find your system you will get a new machine.
