Rob, if they're my age shouldn't they be getting ready to get out of the house anyway? (not like I should say anything as I still live at home, gods help me).

Shazza...YOU LEFT A PLACE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY FOR THE SUBURBS?! I swear if I ever get to Oz I'm gonna look you up and give you a good kick in the bum!

So with a home in Oz and in Florida are you an American or Australian?

Heh, you need to hire Sarah Jessica Parker to get them out.

lol...we are only 15 minutes from the city, and we wanted more space and some trees! Trust me, it's not too bad. You're always welcome to drop by (we've got two students visiting from the US with us now),

We are in Australia on an expat assignment...been here for two years, and expect to be here another couple...it is a hardship, but we will survive Our daughter lives in the Florida house, and we get back several times a year. Eventually, we will retire in Florida. Lived in Southern California before Florida, so pretty much following the sun.

I'm BAAAAAAAACK!

I had an okay time in Savannah...too fücking hot, too fücking humid, and we stayed inside most of the time watching the worst digital cable I've ever seen on a 50 inch plasma screen.

On the plus side, I converted my Aunt who ordered a 20 inch iMac—one more convert and I get a free toaster, yay!

I was kinda disappointed with the iMac, however...It was very sluggish, but I'm hoping that was because it only had 512 megs. And there was something very odd with the monitor. When the image was static it looked lovely but when the image moved or when I moved my head or my eyes I could swear it looked like the monitor was interlaced or something.

Also I installed Parallels on it and for some reason I couldn't get internet access through it as it didn't recognise any drivers for the network card. I only had about 8-9 hours to play with the computer and get it set up before we had to leave so I feel bad about having left it half assed like that.

And HP's Mac drivers and software suck ass so I had to use their open source drivers to get her printer running and found out that you can't check the stupid ink levels! But I'll act all surprised and shit when she says something about it to me

Thankee.

I hope the memory does it...which reminds me I said I was going to send her a link to the type to buy and I haven't yet.

It could've been too that I was using the computer the way I use a computer which entails having multiple things going on all at once. My aunt will usually only have Safari and Mail open at any one time.
