Acer Arcade and Fan control

I've just bought a 5652WLMi and have noticed that the fan kicks in as soon as I enter Acer Arcade and stops when I exit. It's therefore not a heating issue, perhaps a precautionary feature, but it's a little annoying as it just adds to the background noise and seems a little unnecessary. Is there a setting somewhere that allows me to turn it off? I've been through all the 'e' setting menus but didnt see anything. I have loaded new drivers and BIOS v2.10 as there was a mention of fixing a fan issue in the release notes.

Also does anyone know how to re-order the listings in the TV guide? I can re-order them in the channel set-up but they default to alphabetical in the guilde.

can always try ditching the acer arcade and switch to yahoo go, it is in the final stages of beta, but is a free media center alternative, i like it, and it's not as much of a system hog like arcade. that was one of my first uninstalls when i loaded up my computer can be found here http://go.connect.yahoo.com/go/tv/index

Funny enough I loaded this yesterday to try out - think I spotted you talk about it on another thread. Unfortunately they don't support outside the US yet (detected by IP address) and the TV card in my Acer (Avermedia M115) is not supported.

I'll keep my eye on this though as it looks very neat..... and free!
